To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience during your Intermediate Cruising Course, please pack the following essentials:
Footwear: Non-scuffing footwear such as boat shoes, Teva-type sandals, or tennis shoes. To check if your shoes are suitable, slide the edge of the sole on paper to see if they scuff.
Clothing:
- Foul Weather/Rain Gear: Essential for unexpected weather changes.
- Layers: A fleece jacket, windbreaker, and sweater are advisable. During summer, rain gear may not be necessary, but it’s best to be prepared.
- Sunglasses: Ensure they have a safety string and side protection.
- Sunscreen: Use SPF 30 or higher to protect against sun exposure.
- Cell Phone or Camera: Capture your sailing adventures.
